Schematic illustration of intraoperative CCEP monitoring. After craniotomy and dura mater incision, a 4 · 5 electrical grid was placed on the temporal lobe surface, and a strip was used for stimulation of the frontal lobe in a bipolar fashion. The red area represents a virtual tumor and the green line indicates the arcuate fasciculus. A: Negative result with no peak amplitude of the electrical potentials. B: Artifact signals of evoked potentials without any distinct peak. C: Positive result with definite N1 peak.
