This is an interior illustration for the medical book. An illustration depicting the temporal approach for midface lifting, in which dissection proceeds down to the deep temporal fascia (DTF plane), followed by subperiosteal dissection over the zygomatic region. A long needle is inserted through the incision to pass through the DTF, securing the central portion of the double-arm suture, then redirected over the deep temporal fascia to exit laterally through the skin after traversing the dissected zygomatic bone, the sub-orbicularis oculi fat (SOOF), and the malar fat pad.
